March 23 Letter Home

March 23, 2007

Dear Parents,

This week we have been studying three totally awesome subjects.
One of the subjects we have been working on is our Roman project. We started to build our city. In fact we have used 800 cubes so far. Each group has been putting together their report and are almost ready to film for Empire Five News. Our groups have also drawn what they are going to build.
Another subject we have been learning about is cause and effect. We have finished this target and we all are good at solving questions for cause and effect. Our class took a practice reading WASL test this week in reading as well.
On Friday we got to watch the play put on by our fellow classmates. It was called Beauty Lou and The Country Beast. Maria screams really loud in the play and everyone does a great job.
Finally our class has made a Blog. If you want to go look at it the address is watervillethirdgrade@blogspot.com. The Blog will have slide shows, writing, pictures, and other information about our class. In fact this letter will be on our Blog.
