4/13 Letter

Dear Loving Parents,

We have been having a very fun exciting week. Our class would like to share these activities with you.
First we have worked on our new unit which is about plants. Plants have many parts like the petals and the carpal. We learned about this information by looking at websites which allowed us to take apart a flower. Next week we will learn about cells and start planning an experiment about plants.
Another thing we have been getting ready for is the WASL. The WASL is next week. To get ready for the WASL we have been practicing by taking fake WASL tests. The tests start next Tuesday.
Finally our class has been working on inferring. Inferring means to make predictions about what is going on in the story. We have practiced this by looking at cartoons and book covers. We also listened to a story and inferred what would happened next.
Now you know what we did this week. Our class looks forward to the weekend.
