Sorry parents for not being able to get a weekly letter out on Friday. It has been crazy for me due to having track meets on Friday afternoons. We are very busy even though we are only a few weeks away from the end of school. In math students began unit ten which deals with measurement. Volume and converting units is a new concept so you may find your child struggling with these ideas. We also began our insect unit which will last till the end of the school year. I will continue to place information on the blog for you to view. The students are beginning to be very excited about this topic and we are having all sorts of interesting insects appear in jars and bags around our classroom. During this unit students will be gaining valuable skills which will help them in the fourth grade while studying the horned toad. Finally thanks for attending the conferences. I hope you found the conversation beneficial. I always enjoy watching children taking responsibility for their learning.
